Flux teachers are the ONLY Regina based educators in the field of Parkour. Our principal coaches train regularly under Ryan Ford of Apex Movement in Boulder, Colorado. We practice obstacle course training ourselves every single day. This experience translates into coaching excellence.

Movement is Life; Life is Movement
This 8-week session (15 classes) is designed for folks that might need a little bit more attention to meet their health and fitness goals. It will be gentle but also challenging when appropriate.
The focus will be to improve your mobility, strength and overall movement capabilities through a variety of methods, including, but not limited to - games, puzzles, partner work and movement situations.
With close to a decade of experience working with people from all walks of life, we assure you that our intelligent and creative program design will benefit you in your everyday life. Our hope is to pass on to you our love of movement.
Register for 2 classes per week:
Thursdays from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and Saturdays from 12pm to 1pm
The flying pigs class is a class dedicated to teaching the basic mechanics of jumping, landing, twisting, and flipping using just momentum and ground reaction force.

This class is included in all regular Flux memberships (adult).
Members do not need to register for the session, only register on MindBody as you would normally.
What goes up must come down.
Take part in a three hour workshop of dynamic movement. Learn how to set in motion the physical weight of your body as you orbit and leap through space. Learn how to create and absorb power with your body.
Study weight shifts, axis of power, spirals and elasticity through proper jumping mechanics, rolling techniques and locomotion patterns. We will simultaneously work with kinetic power and the absorption of the pull of gravity. Learn how to propel your body through space as well as how to absorb the force of your body as it makes contact with the ground. Learn how to create both tension and softness in your body. What is your relationship to the floor? How will you transition from high to low and low to high? While we will introduce you to specific movements and patterns, our larger goal is to give you the tools to move beyond mimicry into improvisation.
This is an interdisciplinary workshop that will interest movers of all sorts: dancers, wrestlers, martial artists, acrobats, fitness enthusiasts, and anyone who simply wants to feel comfortable on the floor. Some movement experience would be beneficial, but is not necessary.
